Passion for Life Events

Ever feel like something's missing? This is the big question we're asking this Easter, inviting our friends, neighbours, and community to find LIFE in Jesus. We warmly invite you to come and join us in the events listed below:

Sunday 22^nd March: 10am & 4pm Services with evangelistic talk, "Find HELP in Jesus" (Matthew 11:28)

Saturday 28th March : Pop-up stall in Trinity Square, 10am-3pm

Sign-up here to help connect with our community in the centre of Gateshead. We'll have gospels, gospel tracts, invitations to upcoming mission events & a friendly team seeking to engage passersby in gospel conversations.

Saturday 28th March: Quiz Night, 7.30pm with a short gospel talk "Find ANSWERS in Jesus"
An easy invite event with a short talk exploring how Jesus offers real answers to life's biggest questions.

Sunday 29^th March: 10am & 4pm Services with evangelistic talk, "Find LIFE in Jesus" (John 3:16)

Wednesday 1st April: Pudding & Live Music evening, 7.30pm with gospel Talk "Find HOPE in Jesus"
A relaxed evening of excellent music, tasty puddings, and the hope of Jesus. Dan Strange from Grace Church will be speaking and there will also be a Q&A Panel for people to ask questions in response to the talk and hear different Christian voices alongside the speaker.

Good Friday, 3rd April: Eggs-cellent Easter Activities: 10-11am

Come join us for an hour of fun-filled Easter crafts. Make something eggs-traordinary to celebrate Easter.. There will then be the chance to celebrate together with an All-Age service from 11am with an evangelistic talk, "Find PEACE in Jesus" (1 Timothy 1:15)

Easter Sunday, 5^th April: All-age Easter Service at 10am with evangelistic talk: "Find FORGIVENESS in Jesus" (1 John 2:1-2)

Easter Sunday, 5^th April: Easter Praise Service at 4pm

Offering a quieter, reflective and worship filled service to reflect on and celebrate all that Jesus has done for us through his death and resurrection.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at the church building (details here) for our Sunday Services starting at 10am and 4pm. For your first visit, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to ensure you get a parking space and find somewhere to sit before the service begins. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team who will be wearing a Welcome lanyard.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There are disabled toilets just off the main foyer.

Our Services

The main services begins at 10am or 4pm with a warm welcome from one of the service leaders. The service will include several songs and hymns, someone praying out loud and reading passages from the bible. We share news and notices, usually about what’s going on in the life of the church. One of our leaders will give a talk that is bible based and that we can apply to our everyday life. We then finish with a final song.

What about my kids?

We have a great programme lined up for kids of all ages:

Creche (0 months to 2.5 years). Children under 6 months are welcome but must be accompanied by their parent/carer at all times.
Scramblers (2.5 years old - 4 years old)
Climbers (Reception-Y2)
Explorers (Y3-Y6)
JAM (Y7-Y9) runs at our 10am Service
Ignite (Y7-Y13) runs after our 4pm Service
ARC (14-18's) Stay in service.

Children stay with their parent or grown-up at the start of the service for the first 10-15 minutes. We really value worshipping God all together as a family. Someone will announce when it’s time for the younger members to go to their various groups. You will need to go with your children to their groups and register them as part of our child safety policy. Whilst you are dropping your kids off at their groups, we pause to take time to chat to someone sitting near or next to us, giving folk a chance to come back before the rest of the service continues.

The kids group activities vary depending on the age but usually there is a friendly welcome, bible stories, praying, music, craft, drama, fun games and free play. Please pick your children up as soon as the service finishes.

Getting Connected

Small Groups

While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, share together and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, some mid-week mornings and some evenings. Check out Small Groups and see if there’s one that you could join, or we can put you in touch with a small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.

If you want to get involved in the life of the church and help us make Sundays run smoothly, you can sign up to serve on a team.
